EwE software and handy material

Jeroen's figshare contains a few handy write-ups relevant to the course. Specifically:

• Ecospace Primer - A 50+ slide presentation that covers most of the key Ecospace parameters and their use;

• Spatial temporal data framework users' guide - a user guide to the spatial temporal data framework.

 We will be using EwE version 6.7 for this course, which can be downloaded from our pCloud cloud storage. The installers here are work in progress; we aim to release EwE 6.7 officially before the course. Stay tuned.

 On Wednesday afternoon we will be taking a brief dive into programming with the EwE source code. If you are interested in following along, please make sure you have the following installed on your (Windows) computer:

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 Community Edition
  Download from the course folder. Run the installler, and when prompted, make sure the option ".NET desktop development" is selected

• The EwE source code
  The EwE source code is now available on GitHub: github.com/Official-EwE/Eii.Ecopath.git. Yay.  We'll open the repository to the wider public before the course.

 On Friday we'll work with the Spatial Temporal Data Framework. The framework is available under an EwE Pro license, but a 90-day license file will be provided for exploring the Pro features as part of this course.
