Been coaching youth sports since 1987... Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Football. Fell in love with Lacrosse in the spring of 2014 and have been coaching it ever since.

Josh Barbour has been playing, coaching and/or reffing lacrosse since 1990. He was the Assistant Coach and Head JV Coach of the Boys Lacrosse at Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA) from 1997 to 1999, was the Head Coach at University of Oregon Men's Team from 2000 to 2005 and was the Head Coach of Marist High School Boys team in 2006 and 2007. Josh was the recipient of the 2001 Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League Coach of the Year. Josh has been an Oregon High School Lacrosse Official since 2014. He has two sons that play lacrosse with EVYL.

I am the father of three active boys (elementary, middle school, and high school) who all play lacrosse. I started playing lacrosse in 8th grade in Colorado and have been playing / coaching for something like 35 years now (and firmly believe that Attack is the best position). I am a lacrosse geek and believe that all kids should be active, have fun, and challenge themselves to improve every day. I hope to help kids fall in love with the sport like I did.

I began playing lacrosse in 6th grade in New Jersey. When I moved to Eugene I joined the Eugene Men's Lacrosse team and began coaching soon after at Churchill High School (2003). After 6 season with Churchill I moved to head coach at South Eugene High School. After 6 seasons with SEHS I stepped down and moved into coaching in the Eugene/ Springfield youth programs.
