His channel of almost 6 million subscribers features videos of him playing guitar for random people on an online chatting site, taking requests and blowing minds. His skill of being able to cleanly improvise any song after hearing it only once inspired Evan to pick up guitar, wanting to learn the same skill.

Kazuki Isogai is a modern Japanese guitarist specializing in jazz and neosoul music. His "Neo Soul guitar Kazuki Isogai with Ibanez AZ2204" was one of the very first songs Evan ever learned on guitar, and served as a launching point into his passion.
