This Privacy Policy describes how Flaminx ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application EVON - Smart Expense Tracker ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information When you register, we collect:

Full name
Email address
Profile photo (if using Google Sign-In)

Financial Data

Expenses you log (amount, category, description, date)
Budget settings (monthly budget, daily allowance, fixed expenses)
Savings goals (name, target amount, progress)

Usage Data

Streak count and XP points
Badges and achievements earned
App preferences and settings

Device Permissions

Camera — used only for scanning receipts. Photos are never stored on our servers.
Storage/Gallery — used only to pick receipt images from your device. Images are never uploaded or saved.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain the App
Track your expenses and budget progress
Calculate streaks, XP, and gamification features
Send notifications about your budget and goals
Improve the App experience
Process premium subscription payments

3. Receipt Scanning

When you scan a receipt:

Your photo is temporarily converted to text using Google Cloud Vision API
The image is immediately discarded after text extraction
Only the extracted text data (amount, store name, category) is used to fill the expense form
No receipt images are ever stored on our servers or Firebase

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase Firestore. Firebase is a Google service that provides:

Encrypted data storage
Secure authentication
Industry standard security practices

6. Data Sharing

We do NOT:

Sell your personal data to anyone
Share your financial data with third parties
Use your data for advertising profiling
Share your data with any unauthorized parties

We only share data when:

Required by law
With your explicit consent
With service providers listed above (Firebase, Google Vision)

7. Premium Subscription

If you purchase a premium subscription:

Payments are processed by Google Play Billing
We do not store your payment card details
Subscription can be cancelled anytime via Google Play

8. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account
Upon deletion, all your data including expenses, budgets, and goals will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days

9. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information please contact us immediately.

10. Security

We take security seriously and implement appropriate technical measures including:

Firebase Authentication for secure login
Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
No storage of receipt images
No storage of payment information

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and all associated data
Export your expense data (PDF export feature)
Opt out of notifications at any time

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
