The Heisei era of Godzilla films went from 1984 to 1995, with a second Godzilla returning after the events of 1954, but only to "die" in 1995. Because in the end of the 1995 film, Godzilla Junior becomes the new Godzilla at the end, proving that Godzilla is not allowed to die.
