Founded by Raquel, EVŌKA Beauty is the result of a lifelong passion for beauty, skin, aesthetics and wellness.

Raised in Brazil, where self-care is embraced as an essential part of wellbeing, confidence and personal presentation, Raquel developed a deep appreciation for beauty from an early age. After moving to Australia in 2005, she completed her beauty qualifications and has spent more than 25 years perfecting her craft across advanced beauty, skin and aesthetic treatments.

Committed to delivering exceptional results, Raquel continually researches the world's leading products, ingredients and technologies. EVŌKA Beauty proudly partners with respected professional skincare brands and invests in award-winning medical-grade technology, combining advanced science with holistic, plant-powered philosophies to create personalised treatments that deliver visible, long-lasting results.

Passionate about education, Raquel also mentors and trains her qualified therapists to the highest standards, ensuring every client receives the exceptional care, precision and attention to detail that EVŌKA Beauty is known for.

In 2018, Raquel took a leap of faith and opened Brazil Wax Beauty Bar, starting with just one treatment room inside a local hair salon and building her clientele from the ground up. Three years later, her vision became a reality when she opened her own boutique clinic in the heart of Wynnum, Brisbane Bayside. As the business grew and expanded into advanced skin treatments, IPL hair reduction, body treatments, aesthetics and wellness, it became clear the brand had evolved. In June 2026, EVŌKA Beauty was born—reflecting a new era of innovation, transformation and elevated beauty experiences.

Today, Raquel's mission is to raise the standard of the beauty industry by combining expertise, continuous education, world-class technology and genuine care.
