Reminder about our program..

A reminder that the format for the Evolution Explorer Scout Unit programme is:

• 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month - Explorer sessions

• 2nd Wednesday of the month - Young Leader training

• 4th Wednesday of the month - Duke of Edinburgh's Award and Scouting Skills

• 5th Wednesday of the month - Special trips

We have specific mailing lists for the Young Leader training and DofE training, so let us know if you want to be added to one of both of them.

Explorer Uniform and Investiture

Remember that we wear our uniforms on the first Monday of every month

So if you have been coming for more than a few weeks and know that you will continue next term, now is a good time to buy the Explorer uniform that you can find here. The shirt is the only compulsory item, but there are other items if you want them, and we will give you a scarf.

When young people have their uniform, we will invest them at a memorable time and place of their choice. 

Congratulations on the DofE Silver and Bronze teams successfully completing their assessed expeditions in the Peak District !

Young Leader and Duke of Edinburgh Award training
It has been great to see so many Explorers joining our Young Leader training on the 2nd Wednesday of every month
and Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition training on the 4th Wednesday of every month.
You do not need to be a young leader or planning to do your DofE expedition with us to get something out of these training evenings.
However, reply to this email if you want to sign up to be a youth leader or do the Duke of Edinburgh's Award for the first time.
