I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Patras, Department of Economics, and a Visiting Fellow at LSE Health Center at the Department of Health Policy, London School of Economics (LSE). Currently, I serve as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Economics and the Department of Nursing, University of Ioannina. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Ioannina, Department of Economics, in the field of terrorism and political violence. 

My current research interest is in the areas of political economy of terrorism, natural disasters, political transitions, political survival, health economics, development, civil liberties, empirical economics and macroeconomics.
