A fundraising opportunity for not only our club, but also the fellow student body population, to help raise money for UNICEF and the children’s fund by trick-or-treating for donations, rather than for candy.
In tradition UNICEF’s Snowflake Ball, EVHS UNICEF collaborates with UNICEF clubs from other schools to organize and coordinate an event for which all of the admission proceeds go to causes of UNICEF’s.
We advocate and educate the topic of violence occurring amongst children and towards children in hopes that the number of violence will decrease down to the number #ZERO.
The UNICEF club advocates the low amount of clean water that is provided for children in other third world countries. As easily accessible water is for people, a large amount of children in the world surprisingly have no/little access to clean water, therefore leading to malnourishment. EVHS UNICEF raises awareness and fundraises in order to provide water for children that are in need of it.
EVHS UNICEF helps to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) worldwide. By dedicating a whole week of spirit, fun, and advocacy, the UNICEF club spreads the word of the devastating situations mothers and children.
Thousands of children are trafficked right here in the United States. As a club, we advocate and educate the devastating fact of how common human child trafficking occurs in the United States alone.
Toy donations will be delivered to a local charity to give to children from low-income families.
