CCA TRAINING PLANS FOR 16-19 May, WEEK 9

Dear members, 

Please take note of the following activities happening on 16-19 May 2023 in Week 9. Refer to the ROs which will be uploaded by this weekend by the respective Commanders for more details. Attendance will be taken for all 4 days, so please kindly see if you're required to attend. You may approach your Commanders if you have any questions/concerns. 

CCA sessions on Thursday and Friday will be as per normal. Only Drone Specialists will be granted time-off on Thursday.

16 May, Tuesday CANCELLED

Drone Odyssey Workshop @ Science Center 

Time: 3:00 to 5:00pm

Members Involved: ALL Drone Specialists (9 pax)

Note: During this workshop, students will gain an understanding of fundamental programming concepts and put them into practice by programming a drone. They will be taught how to define variables, save sensor readings in variables, and use loops to control the flight of the drone. The workshop will include practical exercises, flight challenges, and the chance to edit their code to develop new flight patterns.

Launch Glider Program [Day-1]

Time: 3:30 to 5:30pm

Members Involved: ALL Cadets & KPs (29 pax)

18 May, Thursday 

Usual CCA for ALL

Time: 3:30 to 5:30pm

Note: **Time-off for all Drone Specialists (9 pax)

19 May, Friday

Usual CCA for ALL 

Time: 1:00 to 4:00pm

Command Team 2023/24 announcement

The 2022/23 will be stepping down and handing over command of EVG YFC to the 2023/24 Command Team during the Change-of-Command Ceremony that is taking place on 21 April 2023.
