Discipleship is a lifestyle of following Jesus, and helping others to do the same.
Jesus calls us to be His disciples:
Mark 1:17 (NKJV)
A disciple of Jesus is someone who: follows Jesus, fishes for people and fellowships with other believers.
Follow Jesus - Jesus calls us to follow Him, His ways, His Words and His example in all we do.
Fish for people - Jesus promises that if we follow Him, He will make us into people who reach out to the lost, spread and share the gospel with others bringing them into His Kingdom.
Fellowship with other believers - Jesus called His disciples to walk in relationship with Him and with each other and He extends the same invitation to all of us.
A disciple is someone who lives by personal conviction of who Jesus is, based on biblical truth and reproduces it in others.
How do I become a Disciple?
At Every Nation, we believe that discipleship is best done in a small group context and it is therefore the primary platform we use to make disciples. If you want to become a disciple of Jesus then we invite you to join a connect group! Get Connected!
What is a Connect Group?
A Connect group is where we learn to follow Jesus, fish for people, and fellowship with other believers. It’s a place to build relationships on three levels: with God, with those who don’t know God yet, and with God’s people. A connect group is a group of 2 – 5 Men or Women who meet once a week, for about sixty to ninety minutes.
How do I join a Connect group?
You can join a connect group group by speaking to the person who invited you or by filling out a get connected card at one of our Sunday worship Services or by simply clicking the link JOIN A CONNECT GROUP.
