Danielle Poree
My name is Danielle Poree. I am an owner of a family home day care in Marrero, Louisiana. I started my business, Every Little Step Learning Center on July 1, 2020. I resigned from teaching as a special education teacher during Covid-19 pandemic. I wanted to assist my family and friends who has children, and was hesitant to send them to schools or daycares with large settings due to Covid-19 pandemic.
I have always had a passion of working with children. I have worked with children since my college years in 2002. I have experience as a leap tutor, substitute teacher, camp instructor, daycare worker, pre-k 3 teacher, and kindergarten to 3rd grade special education teacher. I have many years of experience working with infants, toddlers, elementary, and high school age students. My highest level of education is a Masters in Elementary Education.
I have always believed in creating a fun, safe, and learning environment for children. Children can have fun while learning at Every Little Step. I love to watch children grow academically. Parents can trust that I will assist with their children's developmental stages. I am here to help students with gross motor, fine motor, social and emotional, speech and language, and cognitive development.
Here is a Fun Fact: The name Every Little Step came from the song "Every Little Step", by Bobby Brown. I used to sing that to my dog as a puppy, because he followed me every where in the house. I also named my dog Bobby Brown. However, the name symbolize that there are steps that we have to take in life. Children have to take steps to grow. I am here for the children in my care Every Little Step of the way.
Every Little step is a home away from home!
Love Always,
Danielle Poree
