Q: What items are currently accepted for donation?
A: We accept brand-new or gently used clothing (ranging from infant to teen sizes), new footwear, unopened personal care items, and new or gently used backpacks and reusable totes. Because these items go directly to local children in need, we ensure everything is clean, high-quality, and ready to bring comfort.
Q: Is The Every Child Project a registered nonprofit?
A: Yes! We are officially a recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization; meaning all monetary donations made to us are fully tax-deductible for tax filing purposes. We have also submitted our South Carolina charitable registration as we continue growing to serve local families.
Q: How does The Every Child Project fit in with other local organizations?
A: We view ourselves as a complementary safety net that works hand-in-hand with our community. While other wonderful local organizations do incredible work, our focus is on expanding the network of support so that no child or family falls through the cracks.
Q: Can I make a monetary donation, and is it tax-deductible?

Q: Do you accept used items, or do they need to be brand new?
A: We accept both brand-new and gently used clothing (infant to teen sizes), as well as new footwear. All donated items should be clean, high-quality, and ready for a child to wear with dignity.
Q: How can families or caseworkers request items for a child in need?
A: While we are actively building our inventory, we are already providing essential items directly to children entering the foster care system. A dedicated online request form will launch soon once our inventory is fully established, allowing us to expand and fulfill multiple requests smoothly. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us directly to coordinate immediate support!
