# Privacy Policy — EveryCalc

## Summary

EveryCalc is an offline-first calculator app. Your calculator inputs, favorites, history, and settings are stored locally on your device.

When ads are enabled, EveryCalc uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). If you purchase the “Remove Ads” product, ads are disabled in the app.

## Information We Collect

EveryCalc does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name or email.

Depending on how you use the app, the following may occur:

- **Local app data (stored on your device):** favorites, recent calculators, history, settings (including theme selection), and purchase status.

- **Advertising data (via AdMob, when ads are enabled):** Google may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address, app interaction information, and other data used to provide and measure ads.

- **Purchase data (via Google Play Billing):** when you buy or restore the “Remove Ads” product, purchase processing is handled by Google Play. The app receives purchase/entitlement information necessary to unlock Pro and disable ads.

- **Optional network lookups:** some timezone features may request current timezone offset data from `worldtimeapi.org`. This request includes the selected timezone string. Like any internet request, your IP address is visible to the service.

## How We Use Information

- To provide app functionality (calculations, favorites, history, settings).

- To determine whether ads should be shown (free users) or disabled (Pro users).

- To process and restore purchases through Google Play Billing.

- To fetch timezone offset data when a timezone feature requests it.

## Sharing and Third-Party Services

EveryCalc may use the following third-party services:

- **Google Mobile Ads (AdMob):** used to display ads when ads are enabled.

- **Google Play Billing:** used to sell and restore the “Remove Ads” one-time product.

- **World Time API:** used for optional timezone offset lookups (`worldtimeapi.org`).

We do not sell your personal information. Third-party services may process data under their own privacy policies.

## Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you clear it in the app (if available), clear app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app.

## Children’s Privacy

EveryCalc is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service used by the app, please contact us.

## Your Choices

- You can purchase “Remove Ads” to disable ads in the app.

- You can reset/clear app data by clearing storage or uninstalling the app.

- You can control ad personalization in your Google account and device settings (availability varies by region).

## Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page when changes are made.
