every brain

We are looking for a sound designer to support Every Brain with the creation of audio versions of two projects we are currently working on: Every Brain's guide for theatres and cultural organisations on supporting neurodiversity, and Tangent: a collection of short stories curated by Every Brain.

Audio version can be found here.

Making our work creative and accessible is central to Every Brain's mission. Both the guide and Tangent will be available in audio and written format and will be launched in August 2021, in a live-streamed event hosted by Contact. More information on Every Brain can be found here.

This opportunity is for a neurodivergent sound designer based in Greater Manchester. You will use the narration of 9 voice actors to create audio versions of both projects, ensuring the sound is clean and accessible. You will have your own audio editing + sound design equipment. We are hoping to work with a sound designer who will collaborate with us on making both of these audio offers as interesting and creative as possible.

What we're looking for: Passion and understanding around neurodiversity. A sound designer with some experience in cleaning and editing recorded audio and working with lots of different voices. A sound designer with an interest in neurodivergency and creating engaging audio experiences.

Payment: £750 (5 days x £150 per day)
