Troubleshooting a house that experienced tripping whenever the MCB was switched on.
Before:
Whenever the C32 MCB was switched on, the entire house tripped. The issue was caused by a short between the neutral and earth wires in two of the upstairs rooms.
After:
Our solution was to carry out insulation testing to trace and identify the exact fault point that caused the short circuit.
Performed electrical troubleshooting at a residential house due to repeated circuit breaker tripping - Klang
Before:
The previous electrician installed a 300mA ELCB for this house. However, a 300mA rating is meant for industrial applications and is not suitable for residential use.
After:
We traced the source of the short circuit and replaced the ELCB with a 30mA unit, which is the correct and safer standard for household protection.

Inspection and troubleshoot

Cause: Multiple looping power circuits installed with undersized 1.0mm wires.
Solution: Replace the existing wiring with larger capacity cables, such as 2.5mm, to safely handle higher current flow and ensure system stability.
