About Us

We opened in 2013 selling mostly Oriental gifts. Over the last couple of years, we have expanded our inventory to meet the needs of our clients. Today, we offer a variety of popular products from fresh to frozen to shelved. Our store is modest in size, but we offer a bit of everything so that every Asian country has a representation in our store. Customers often remark that though our store does not offer a huge selection on every product, they can still find everything they need. It makes us happy that customers can find what they want, but we believe that there's still much to be improved! In the near future, we aim to offer even more variety to meet our customer's needs.

This year, on Yelp's rankings, we maintain our position as one of the top Asian groceries in the entire Lehigh Valley. Although we have made significant progress over these few years, we couldn't have done it without the support of our customers! This accomplishment is ours but also our customers'—they are the reason why we are where we are today. We want all our customers to feel included, and we believe that the best way is to listen, understand, then follow up. This business motto exactly why we continue to value our customers and their feedback.

Our store name "Evergreen" has double meanings. On an economic level, it is synonymous to "prosperity." On an environmental level, it has connections to nature—an evergreen tree! Our mascot, Wang Wang (旺旺), is designed with both meanings in mind. Her evergreen necklace is a symbol of our commitment to decrease our carbon footprint. To date, we have recycled more than 100,000 carton boxes and plastic bags. We have also reused more than 10,000 carton boxes, 5,000 plastic bags, and 1000 paper bags. Customers can participate by bringing their own bags, donate clean plastic or paper bags, and/or asking the cashier for a carton box at checkout. We believe that together, we can make a positive difference.
