For over three decades, we have been a pillar of support for seniors and their families across the Midwest. Our journey began in 1993 as CQC Morenci Home, founded with a singular, heartfelt mission: to provide a safe, nurturing environment where residents are treated like family.

Over the years, while our name has evolved to reflect our growing vision, our core values have remained steadfast. What started as a local initiative in Morenci has expanded into a trusted resource servicing communities throughout Michigan and Ohio. We take immense pride in our deep roots within these neighborhoods, building long-standing relationships based on transparency, compassion, and excellence.

Our Story: A Promise Born from Compassion

Evergreen Assisted Living Home didn’t begin in a boardroom; it began with a vow. Our current owner, May, worked at an assisted living institution. While these facilities were efficient, she noticed something vital was missing: the soul of a home. She watched as residents became room numbers, care became a checklist, and the bottom line often took priority over the human spirit. She saw seniors who longed for a conversation instead of just a meal, and families who wanted to know their loved ones were being hugged, not just "monitored." Deeply moved by these experiences, May made a promise. She vowed to create a sanctuary where care is never "business as usual." She envisioned a place where the staff knows how a resident takes their coffee, what songs make them dance, and what stories they love to tell. Evergreen is the realization of that dream.
