The Everett Police Department is proud to offer parents and caregivers a child safety program geared toward the automobile safety for children of all ages. Every year child seats are either improperly installed or misused and result in the serious injury or death of a child. Research as shown more than 80% of child seats or not properly installed. That means only 2 out of 10 car seats are properly installed or used correctly.

We encourage parents and caregivers to visit us on our child seat safety night for a free check or installation assistance. This program is open to anyone and not just residents of the City of Everett. Children are not required to attend.
