Every band has its own methods, but this is how we like to write our songs.  Fortunately for us, Dan loves to noodle around between takes and is constantly creating new tunes as we laugh and talk.  When Colin hears something that catches his attention, out comes the phone and we get a quick recording.  Later, after identifying a feeling or a story, Colin turns that tune into a song with lyrics and a shape.  Then, through practice, we work together to create a full song with intros, bridges, and outros.  And with some practice, it's ready to go live!                                   So here is how we made, "Plastic Paddies".  Hope you like it!  Slainte!!!   - Dan and Colin

Our very first song, "Three Times, She Said" was written before we had thought to record things.  This early version below is the best we can do!  And with the song, "Plastic Paddies", we "borrowed / appropriated" the tune and just re-wrote lyrics (with some tweaks), just like good Plastic Paddies!  Thanks again!  - Dan and Colin
