About Fishers Youth Assistance Program: Fishers Youth Assistance Program (FYAP) is a public/private partnership that provides professional family-centered advocacy and referral services to kids, ages 3 to 17, in the Hamilton Southeastern School District. Appointed by the Hamilton County Courts, FYAP’s early intervention advocates work with HSE Schools and the City of Fishers to give families a comprehensive support structure to help them when a crisis occurs or when a specific need arises. FYAP’s confidential referral services include general and mental health counseling, no-cost family education programming, tutoring, mentoring, recreational activity scholarships and a summer lunch program.
