Strategy and planning mean nothing without execution. Whether we created and planned the event together or not, I can come in and execute it, flawlessly as your Event Manager. A Different Breed - Pop-Up, Washington, DC
Strategized, co-planned and executed A Different Breeds first pop-up. Not only did we create a boutique like layout but also an interactive interview-style activity for anyone who purchased a product. This acted as an attraction tactic for other attendees to stop and listen, but also social content for the IG page. A simple yet effective strategy was created and has been duplicated over a dozen times, showing continued growth.
National Association of African American Athletes - Watkins Award Weekend, Washington, DC
Here I partnered up with the Kevin Lei Productions as the Event Coordinator, mainly to execute what he and the organization had planned. This was a multi-day and multi-event event, including a panel of past and present recipients, media/press interviews, as well as, the main event, the Dinner Gala, with pre and post receptions. This event included roughly 350 attendees and I oversaw roughly 20 staff members, ranging from camera, set up and break down, vendors and hotel assistance.
Starz: Take the Lead, Washington, DC
Requested to coordinate with the production team with set up, stage preparation, vendor communication, venue management, speaker management and guest satisfaction. There were roughly 200 guests, some celebrity guest, who I was assigned to take care of throughout the event.
