DNA identification

Genetic analysis of the microbial community attached to MPs are performed using High Throughput Sequencing (HTS). To obtain the clean sequences several steps are necessary. During my PP I only contributed to DNA extraction, while the other tasks were performed by other labs. However here below I will list the main steps of the process.

Genetic and morphological analysis of Plastisphere are both important to describe this particular community.
