I am an Invited Researcher at J-PAL and an Associate Researcher at the SCORE Strand III Initiative on Religion and Economic Development.

My research interests span political economy, behavioral economics, trade, inequality and identity. Using consumption data, I combine reduced-form and structural methods to examine how identity, culture and status concerns shape behavior.
