PhD Researcher in Linguistics

Hello!
I am a third-year AHRC-funded PhD researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) in Linguistics at The University of Manchester. I am supervised by Prof Andrew Koontz-Garboden and Dr Vera Hohaus.

My main research interests are formal semantics, the syntax-semantics interface, and linguistic fieldwork. In my dissertation project, I focus on cross-linguistic variation related to gradability in English and Malay.

Prior to my PhD studies, I completed Master's programmes in Linguistics at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and the University of Manchester, as well as a BA (Hons) from King's College London in Spanish and Portuguese.
