This privacy policy is applicable to the EVE mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "Application"), developed by Corina Perjan (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".
The Application acquires the information you supply when you download and register.
User Provided Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name to personalize your experience.
Purpose: The Application uses this to identify your profile, save your historical Vitality Scores, and send you important health-related notifications or environmental alerts.
To function as an Environmental Health Assistant, the Application automatically collects:
Device Metadata: Unique device ID, operating system version, and device type.
Motion & Fitness Data: The Application accesses your device’s motion coprocessor (CMMotionActivity) to distinguish between periods of stationary behavior and outdoor movement (walking, running). This allows the Application to recognize when you are physically exposed to the local atmosphere.
Battery Efficiency: Our tracking is designed to use low-power hardware to ensure minimal impact on your device's battery life.
Yes. Location data is the core foundation of your Environmental Health Score.
Background Location: If granted, the Application collects precise location data even when the app is closed or in the background. This allows the Application to monitor your exposure to air quality (AQI), UV radiation, and noise levels as you move through your day.
Service Delivery: Your coordinates are mapped to trusted environmental data providers to fetch local atmospheric conditions.
Privacy Guardrail: Your specific location history is used solely to calculate your score and provide health insights. We do not sell, rent, or trade your location history to third parties for advertising or marketing.
No. The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, or generative models to process your data. The Application utilizes deterministic algorithms and established scientific environmental benchmarks. Your score is calculated using transparent, mathematical formulas based on official air quality, UV indexes, temperature provided by global environmental stations.
We only share data in the following limited circumstances:
Environmental Data Providers: We transmit obscured location data (latitude/longitude) to fetch real-time weather and pollution data.
Service Infrastructure: We use trusted cloud providers (e.g., Supabase, Firebase) to store your account data securely.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law (e.g., a subpoena) or to protect the safety of our users.
Sensors: You may revoke Location and Motion permissions at any time via your device’s Settings menu.
Account Deletion: You may initiate the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data directly within the Application’s settings.
Uninstall: You may stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application.
We retain User Provided data for as long as your account is active. Automatically collected location and motion data used for exposure trends are typically retained for 24 months to provide you with long-term vitality insights, after which they are anonymized and aggregated for system improvement.
The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children.
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding your confidentiality. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards (including encryption) to protect the information we process.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application is deemed as approval of all changes.
