My name is Eva Strazek!

I am a freelance journalist, writer, dramaturg and more born and raised in Cleveland and currently based in Chicago. 

I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from DePaul University with my BFA in Dramaturgy/Criticism with a minor in Journalism. 

My writing has been published in several publications such as The Land, NBC 5 Chicago, DePaul Newsline, 14East Magazine, The DePaulia, and The Grappler. 

I have worked in literary management, dramaturgy, and marketing roles for professional theatre companies such as Shattered Globe Theatre and Raven Theatre.  I worked in the marketing office at The Theatre School for two years during my undergraduate experience. 

I am open to communicating and connecting with theatre practitioners, fellow writers, newsrooms and publications, and more. I am always open to freelance dramaturgy and/or writing positions!
