My name is Eva Strazek!

I am a fourth-year BFA Dramaturgy/Criticism student at The Theater School at DePaul University, with a minor in Journalism-- set to graduate in Spring 2026.

I aim to work as a freelance journalist, writer, and dramaturg.

I write articles, creative nonfiction, essays, news stories, reviews, and more for DePaul publications such as The Grappler and The DePaulia. I have a background in production/civic dramaturgy, short and long-form journalism, literary management, photo and document archiving, marketing, social media content creation, multimedia, web content writing, photo/video editing, teaching artistry, and community engagement. 

I am open to communicating and connecting with theatre practitioners, writers, and more in both Cleveland and Chicago. I am always open to freelance dramaturgy and/or writing positions.
