The Bahá'í House of Worship

Everyone is welcome to explore spiritual teachings and pray together.

The Bahá'í House of Worship, located at 100 Linden Avenue, Wilmette

Open every day of the year:

For prayer and meditation: the Temple Auditorium is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

For films and exhibits: the Welcome Center is open: Monday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Bookshop hours: M, T, Th, F, S, Sun: Open 10 a.m. and closing at 5:00 p.m. (closed for lunch hour 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.) On Wednesday the bookshop will be open 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 PM.

Devotional programs:

Brief programs of prayers and readings (about 10 to 15 minutes) are shared in the Bahá’í House of Worship Auditorium as follows:

Wednesday mornings at 9:45 a.m.

Everyday 12:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Sunday 12:30 p.m. devotional programs are approximately 30 minutes long and include a written program on a particular theme. The choir sings for the 12:30 p.m. devotions on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays of each month.

Spanish/Español devotional programs are held on the 1st Sundays of each month at 2:00 p.m., [1er domingo de cada mes a las 2:00 p.m. en el Auditorio del templo.] Followed at 2:45 p.m. by an informational meeting about the Bahá’í Faith in the Welcome Center presentation room. Presentation on the Baha’i Faith: PowerPoint presentation with Q&A Sundays: 1:15 p.m. to about 2:15 p.m. in the lower level of the Welcome Center.

Conversations Exploring the Baha’i Faith – Join in an informal discussion Fridays at 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Welcome Center.

Masks are encouraged inside the Temple and the Visitors' Center. There are masks available on site.
