Hi. Thanks in advance for help. Using Occupy the Web's Linux book. Ch. 2 exercise 2: use cat command to view contents of password.lst. I keep getting that I don't have permissions if I type >cat or a new line if I just type cat. I'm new and appreciate any help in this group. Thanks!!
Concept:
I manually browsed to above path and checked the password files and choose the password.lst as it have fairly similar passwords that may be set in IPMI as explained in the module.
And then hit run. DONE

Ok, so I've been trying to crack some wi-fi passwords using aircrack-ng. I am able to locate the .cap/ .ivs file(s) and have aircrack try to crack them, but when it asks me for a dictionary to crack with, i give it the location looking something like this: /home/user name here/Documents/password.lst. it returns by saying something like: 17dc91bb1f
