Evan Thomas Byron was born on May 25, 1980, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in Carmel, Indiana. His early years were marked by a strong academic drive, which led him to pursue higher education at Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis. Evan earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Spanish in 2002. During his undergraduate years, he was recognized for his academic excellence, earning a place on The National Dean’s List, and actively participating in the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity's Finance Committee.
Evan’s passion for law led him to Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed his Juris Doctor degree in 2006. While at Case Western, Evan developed his trial advocacy skills as a member of the Jonathan M. Ault Mock Trial Team, and his leadership abilities were demonstrated through his role as Vice President of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Before his partnership at Kaufman, Drozdowski & Grendell, Evan worked as Of Counsel for Lieberman, Dvorin & Dowd, LLC, focusing on business and commercial litigation. This role expanded his expertise in trial work, residential and commercial real estate, creditors’ rights, receiverships, and banking-related matters, further preparing him for his future endeavors in law.
In addition, Evan spent time at Chernett Wasserman, LLC, from 2009 to 2016, where he served as a non-equity partner. He led the firm's litigation practice there, overseeing cases involving commercial disputes, real estate issues, bankruptcy, leasing, and employment law. His ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously was key to the firm’s success and helped sharpen his skills in managing complex litigation matters.
In January 2025, Evan Byron began his legal career by founding Byron Legal, LLC.
