Philosophy has been an incredible gift in my life that I am excited to share with others. I have experience teaching philosophy both in and out of university classrooms. In the summer of 2019, I was the lead instructor and lesson planner for Ohio State University's Philosophy and Critical Thinking (P.A.C.T.) summer camp for high school students. I designed lesson plans, activities, and games around the theme of "Identity." I have also given hundreds of presentations on animal ethics to high school and middle school audiences in the Central Ohio area.
The following are courses that I have either designed or taught as a primary instructor:
Animals and Philosophy
Contemporary Moral Problems
Death and the Meaning of Life
Engineering Ethics
Environmental Ethics (I have taught environmental ethics and also have designed a service-learning component for such courses)
Ethics
Introduction to Philosophy
Logic and Legal Reasoning
Our world: The biological, geo-political and ethical implications and impacts of climate change (co-taught with Biologist Dr. Alex Fotis)
Philosophical Approaches to Racism and Sexism
Philosophy of Art, Literature, and Film
Philosophy of Saving the World
Symbolic Logic
