Evan Makarov is a filmmaker and photographer born and raised in Southern California. As a child, Evan started making home movies with his family and that's when his filmmaking journey began. Now, he's a recent Woodbury University graduate with years of experience on short film sets.
He has made over 15 projects which he has written, directed, and edited. He was the cinematographer for most of them as well. Additionally, he's worked on many student films and a handful of professional short films and commercials as a cinematographer, camera assistant, gaffer, and grip. He's also collaborated and worked with celebrity beauty photographer, Mitch Stone.
Evan also made behind the scenes videos for companies such as Beauty Factory by Mitch Stone and Nations Info Corp. While one of his hobbies is photography, he also takes photos for his instagram and as collaborations with other creatives.
His new short film, KILLER is out on YouTube now! His new documentary short, CATS, will release this year!
