EVA Air only accepts a limited number of pets on board due to space restrictions, so bookings should be made accordingly. Knowing airlines' specific pet policies is of paramount importance in order to understand the requirements and prepare for a safe and comfortable journey for your pet(s).
In-cabin pet policy Cat flies in the cabin
Eva Airlines does not allow pets to be transported in the cabin, with the exception of service and emotional support animals with a medical certificate.
Service dog owners should contact Eva Airlines at least 48 hours before departure.
Owners of emotional support dogs should provide Eva Air Pet Policy with the following more than 48 hours before departure: Letter from a licensed psychologist on their letterhead, no older than 12 months, stating that the passenger is in their care, the passenger has a mental or physical condition emotional disorder suffers disability recognized in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual that the passenger must have the dog to treat this disability during the flight or at the destination. Emotional support dogs must be over 4 months old and well behaved. Only one emotional support dog per passenger is accepted.
Emotional Support Dogs are only accepted on flights to or from the United States.
Pet Checked Baggage Policy

If your pet is too big to fit under the seat or if it is a very long flight, Eva Airlines can transport your pet in the cargo area of the aircraft according to regulations. This area of the cargo compartment has the same temperature and pressure as the passenger cabin.
Pets Allowed:
Cats, dogs and rabbits from 10 weeks of age. Birds are not transported with Eva Airlines.
Track Restrictions:
Pets are not allowed to fly to Australia, UK or Hong Kong as checked baggage. Due to aircraft restrictions, pets are not allowed on all flights.
Reservations:
To fly your pet as checked baggage, reservations should be made no later than 24 hours after booking your ticket. The number of pets allowed in the hold is limited depending on the aircraft type. You must contact Eva Airlines with details of transporting your pet.

Passengers must contact Eva Airlines in advance if traveling with a pet. You must fill out 2 fields of this notification form and present the forms upon check-in. Valid health and rabies certificates are required.
For international travel, Eva Airlines requires all forms required for the destination country to be presented upon check-in.

If you're flying as checked baggage, check your pet in in an IATA-compliant pet crate at the passenger ticket counter (allow plenty of time for check-in). At that time, you pay the transportation fee. To travel as checked baggage.

Temperature Restrictions:
If at any time (origin/transit/destination) during your pet's transportation the temperature for the day is expected to be less than -12°C (10°F) or greater than 29°C (85°F), your pet will not be carried as checked baggage. There are no exceptions to these temperature restrictions.
Crate requirements:
Crates must be hard plastic, escape-proof, with a waterproof bottom and multi-sided ventilation. The lock on the door must be spring loaded to prevent your pet from opening the door. Lining must be taped to the top of the crate and a food and water bowl must be attached to the door.
No more than two adults of comparable size, each weighing no more than 14 kg/31 lb. be shipped in the same box. The size of the box must be three times the width of the largest animal. For their safety and comfort, animals that weigh more must travel in their own box.

Unaccompanied pets or pets traveling to Australia, Hong Kong or the UK must travel as overt (air) cargo.
Pets Allowed:
Warm-blooded mammals, aquatic animals and reptiles. Eva Airlines Cargo does not ship poisonous, dangerous or obnoxious animals, wild birds, laboratory animals, animals with strong odors or pets prohibited by the destination country.
Forms required:
A health certificate issued within 10 days of travel, proof of rabies vaccination and any forms required for your destination country. For international travel, Eva Airlines requires all forms required for the destination country to be presented upon check-in.
