Thank you for using "EV Stations Tracker" ("the App"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App on iOS and Android devices.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not require account registration and we do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information for our own customer database. However, depending on how you use the App, the following information may be processed:
- Location data (with your permission) to display nearby EV charging stations on the map, calculate distances, and show real-time availability in your area.
- Search queries and filter preferences you enter to find charging stations, connector types, or specific networks.
- Favorite stations you save, stored locally on your device.
- Subscription and purchase information processed through Adapty and the App Store / Google Play when you subscribe to premium features.
- Anonymous usage data and crash reports collected by Firebase to help us diagnose issues and improve stability.
- Device information such as operating system version, device model, and language, used to ensure compatibility and a consistent experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information only to provide and improve the App's features. Specifically, we use it to:
- Show nearby EV charging stations on an interactive map based on your current location.
- Provide detailed station information, including connector types, power output, and operating hours.
- Deliver real-time availability updates for charging stations.
- Allow you to save favorite stations and access them quickly.
- Power advanced filters and search so you can find the right station faster.
- Manage subscriptions and provide an ad-free premium experience.
- Monitor app stability, diagnose crashes, and improve overall performance.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Maps Platform and Google Places API — to display maps and provide charging station data.
- Expo and Expo Location — to run the App and request device location.
- Adapty — to manage subscriptions and process purchase events.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — to handle in-app purchases and subscription billing.
- Firebase (by Google) — for anonymous analytics and crash reporting.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers to understand how they handle your data.
4. Data Storage
Favorites, filter preferences, and other settings are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. The App does not maintain its own server-side database of personal user accounts. Any data processed by third-party services is stored on their infrastructure in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through the App, including the use of secure network connections (HTTPS) and reputable third-party providers. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information related to your use of the App, and to withdraw consent for location access at any time through your device settings.
