About Olomouc
Olomouc is the historical capital of Moravia and the administrative center of the Olomouc Region. Located on the Morava River, the city has about 102,000 inhabitants, making it the sixth largest in the Czech Republic. A quarter of its population consists of students, giving it a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. The city boasts a well-preserved historic center, which is protected by law as an urban monument reservation. Among its many architectural and cultural treasures, the Holy Trinity Column, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, stands out for its quintessential Baroque style and deep symbolic value.
