Empowering the next generation of European citizens
The "European Values" Jean Monnet project aims to systematically introduce European themes into the teaching and activities of partner schools. Co-funded by the European Union, the project implements a strategy designed to achieve specific milestones and final results through a variety of targeted educational activities.
Looking toward the future, "European Values" has set ambitious goals: to train a large group of teachers from four different countries in European-oriented pedagogy and to educate students in a proactive European culture.
By the end of the three-year project (2023-2026), the objective is to complete a formal proposal for a European Civic Education path that could be utilized by the Union to structurally integrate European themes into the school systems of all Member States.
eCampus University established its role within the framework of the European Union's Jean Monnet Action 2022, specifically under the Erasmus+ program which aims to stimulate training, communication, and debate on European institutions and the continental dimension of citizenship. The project is coordinated by Prof. Roberto Castaldi and is an initiative of the Research Centre fEUture.
CesUE, a spin-off of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, is a key partner responsible for events and workshops, including the “Communicating Europe” sessions for high school students held in collaboration with EURACTIV Italia, the first multilingual network for European information.
