Checked Baggage Allowance

Economy Class:
Passengers travelling in Economy Class enjoy a standard checked baggage allowance of 30 kilograms (66 pounds) per passenger on most routes.

Business Class:
Business Class passengers are afforded a generous checked baggage allowance of 40 kilograms (88 pounds) per passenger on most routes.

Cabin Baggage Allowance
All passengers are permitted one piece of cabin baggage weighing up to 7 kilograms (15.4 pounds). Additionally, one laptop bag or personal item may be carried into the cabin.

Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces of cabin baggage, weighting upto 14 kgs (30 pounds) + 1 suit bag.

Restricted Items
Ensuring the safety and comfort of all our passengers is our top priority. Therefore, certain items are restricted from both checked and cabin baggage in accordance with international aviation regulations. Passengers are prohibited from carrying the following items:

1. Explosives

2. Compressed gases

3. Flammable items (liquids, solids, and gases)

4. Oxidizers and organic peroxides

5. Toxic and infectious substances

6. Radioactive materials

7. Corrosives

8. Items with sharp edges or points that could be considered weapons

9. Drugs, unless accompanied by a prescription

10. Hoverboards and other self-balancing devices

11. Lithium batteries exceeding 160 watt-hours for personal use

12. Pets (except for service animals)

13. Perishable items

14. Wet-cell batteries

15. Any other items deemed dangerous or hazardous by airline staff

40 Kgs for Eco, 50 Kgs for Business!!
Yes, you read it right! If you're flying Economy Class to or from India, your baggage allowance is a whopping 40 kilograms! And if you've got a Business Class ticket, we're even more generous - you can carry up to 50 kilograms of luggage. If you are traveling on an itinerary that includes flights with both SkyTeam member airlines and Eurowings, please be aware that baggage policies may vary. We recommend checking with the respective airlines for precise details regarding baggage allowances and restrictions.

Excess Baggage and Additional Charges, Because Some Souvenirs Just Won't Fit!:

With your Eurowings ticket, you get a generous baggage allowance of 30 kilograms in Economy Class, but let's be real – souvenirs have a magical way of piling up. So, if your bags end up with a few extra kilograms, we won't hold it against you. Just remember, every journey needs a bit of wiggle room for those unexpected finds! You can purchase additional weight allowance right at the airport. Think of it as a little souvenir for your suitcase. While we applaud your dedication to souvenirs, safety is our top priority.
