About us

About us

The European Association for Algorithmic Fairness is an association based in Switzerland, pursuing non-commercial and non-profit purposes only. Its purpose is to promote algorithmic fairness and responsible AI in Europe, in particular by organizing the European Workshop on Algorithmic Fairness (EWAF). Its members are individuals from academia and industry who support the purpose of the association. Our community is interdisciplinary, integrating various disciplinary perspectives such as computer science, philosophy, sociology, law, critical studies, and more.
