My passion for railways began at an early age and has continued to develop throughout my life. I hold a particular interest in both British and American railways, with a deep appreciation for the Great Western Railway (GWR) and the Union Pacific Railroad for their rich histories and lasting contributions to the development of rail transport. In addition to my personal enthusiasm, I actively contribute to the preservation of railway heritage through my volunteer work at the Golden Spike National Historic Park, where I serve as a fireman and mechanic for two operational steam locomotives. In recent years, I have also expanded my involvement in the field by developing custom content for Train Simulator, a pursuit that enables me to merge historical research with modern technology in an engaging and meaningful way.Â
