Each dance family must have an account to deposit profits that they raise through fundraising. Funds remain in the dancer's account with the society until requested to be transferred to the studio.
Contact the Treasurer to set up an account. Note: there is a one-time fee to set up an account.
Individual dancer funds raised can be used towards:
tuition fees
fesitval fees
costume fees
exam fees
summer camps
Examples of what society funds are used towards:
scholarships
new equipment
rehearsal rental space
teacher professional development
dance community events (e.g. Halloween party)
Please note: funds cannot be cashed out and are used towards reducing the fees listed above. Funds can be transferred to another dancer or the general Society's fund if the dancer is no longer with the studio.
