Personal Profile
Euphrasia Ng’andwe is an academician, researcher, and author currently working at Chalimbana University as a University Librarian. Possessing a strong inter-multidisciplinary background in Library Information Science, Public Administration and Business Administration. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science.
My principle research interest lies in the application of Library Management Systems in academic libraries. I am currently investigating the Digitisation of Library Systems in Academic Libraries: Contextualisation, Adaptation and Adoption of E- paradigms in Emerging Public Universities in Zambia.
My future research plans are to build on the foundations of my PhD to further develop models and tools and collaborate with other emerging libraries to develop the status of academic libraries in Zambia in order to cope with current technological trends in information dissemination and accessibility beyond the four walls of the library.
Academic Background
I am a holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Arts in Library and Information Science (MSc. LIS), Bachelor of Arts with Library Information Science and Public Administration (BALIS), and a Certificate in Primary Teaching.
