Reaching out for therapy often comes with questions, practical and personal. Below are some of the questions I am most commonly asked. If there is something you are wondering about that is not covered here, you are welcome to mention it in your enquiry form.
Not at all. Many people come to therapy not because they are in crisis, but because something feels difficult, overwhelming, repetitive, or simply hard to make sense of alone. You do not need to have a diagnosis, a clear explanation, or a "big enough" reason to begin.
That's completely okay. Many of the people I work with are entering therapy for the first time. You do not need to know what to say or how therapy is supposed to work. We begin where you are and move at a pace that feels manageable.
If there is something in your life that feels emotionally heavy, confusing, persistent, or difficult to navigate alone, therapy may be a helpful space to explore it. You do not need certainty before reaching out.
Most sessions are conducted online, allowing me to work with individuals across India while offering flexibility and accessibility.
In-person sessions in Hyderabad may occasionally be available depending on availability and suitability. If meeting in person is important to you, feel free to mention it in your enquiry form, and we can explore the options together.
Therapy sessions are 45- 50 minutes in duration.
This varies from person to person. For most individuals, weekly sessions provide consistency and momentum, particularly at the beginning of therapy. We can discuss what feels appropriate for your needs and circumstances.
Sessions are available in English, Hindi and Urdu, depending on what feels most comfortable for you.
Current fees are:
• Individual Therapy: ₹1500 per 50-minute session
• Couples Therapy: ₹2000 per 50-minute session
Fees are reviewed periodically and may be revised over time. International clients are offered sessions on a separate fee schedule.
Once I receive your enquiry, I will review it and contact you via email regarding availability and the next steps. This may include a brief conversation to understand what you are looking for and whether working together feels like a good fit.
Yes. Confidentiality is an important part of therapy. Information shared in sessions is kept private, with a few legal and ethical exceptions related to safety and risk, which will be discussed at the beginning of our work together.
You do not need to arrive with the right words or a clear starting point. Uncertainty is welcome here. Therapy often begins with simply noticing what feels most present and allowing understanding to emerge from there.
There is no fixed timeline for therapy. Some people come with a specific concern they would like support with, while others choose to engage in longer-term work focused on understanding patterns, relationships, or personal growth.
The length of therapy depends on your goals, the concerns you are bringing, and what feels helpful for you. We can regularly check in about how the process is feeling and whether it continues to meet your needs.
Feel free to mention it in your enquiry form. I'm happy to discuss any questions you may have and help you determine whether working together feels like the right next step.
