About Me

Eunjin Chun, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Researcher

Brain, Language & Computation Lab

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

I received my Ph.D. in linguistics at the University of Florida in August 2018 and am currently a postdoc scholar at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the Brain, Language and Computation Lab under Dr. Li Ping. My main research interests include psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics and second language (L2) acquisition, with particular focus in linguistic prediction and implicit learning. Other areas of interest include corpus linguistics, machine learning and phonetics (e.g., perception and production of prosody, and the role of prosody in language processing).

I am currently working on a project which aims to explore predictive processing in the VR (Virtual Reality) setting. In addition, I investigate whether comprehenders' eye movements during reading can help us understand the process of their building up knowledge structure.
