In June–July 2025, EMI LAB participated in the Jeju Summer Camp held at the Jeju Innovation Growth Center in South Korea. We attended seminars across various fields and gained broader perspectives through discussions with researchers from different disciplines.

In June 2025, EMI LAB attended the 12th Triennial Symposium on Transportation Analysis conference (TRISTAN XII), in Okinawa, Japan. The symposium provided opportunities to engage with researchers from diverse fields and served as a valuable source of motivation for future research.

In June 2025, Sung Yoo Lim, M.S. student, attended and presented at the 13th Symposium of the European Association for Research in Transportation (hEART 2025) in Germany. He participated in poster session, focusing on prompt engineering.

In June 2024, EMI LAB attended the Jeju Summer Camp at the Jeju Innovation Growth Center, South Korea. During this camp, we took seminars and conducted collaborative research.

In May 2024, Prof. Eui-Jin Kim won the Yongtaek Lim Award(1st) at the 2nd Yongtaek Lim Award for Outstanding Paper Competition, hosted by MESH and sponsored by Studio G. This is an academic award to cultivate the new generations in the field of transportation planning. The Ph.D and MSc dissertations on transportation planning and behavior modeling have been received.

In May 2024, our undergraduate students achieved excellent results at the 2024 Korea Institute of ITS Spring Conference. Sung Yoo Lim won the top prize(1st), and Dain Oh received the participation prize(4th).
