Location
Lugano is a city in southern Switzerland (lying in a bay on the northern side of Lake Lugano), in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino bordering Italy. With a population of 63,185, Lugano is not a big city on a European scale. However, it is the Switzerland's third most important financial center and a conference, banking, and business center. With Mediterranean flair and its parks, villas, and sacred buildings, Lugano offers all the advantages of a world-class city, combined with the cachet of a small town.
Entry to Switzerland & Visa

Likewise, international applicants from a country outside the EU/EEA might need a visiting student visa to come to Switzerland. Information about the required forms and documents are available at the “Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA)” following this link.
For the visiting student visa, request for a Training School Invitation Letter should be sent to trainingschool@eugain.eu. The request must contain all the necessary information along with a digitized copy of the identification page of the student passport (with name and photo).
Accommodation
We recommend that attendees book accommodation as soon as possible. Likewise, if you want to share a room with another attendee, contact the event organizers to put you in contact with possible roommates.
