The Elwood PTA Council, "Meet the Candidates Night" will be held on May 10th at 7:00 pm.

The candidates (presented here alphabetically)

Amy Kern, Bryan Johnson, Heather Mammolito, James Tomeo.

This event will be held virtually and will be moderated by Suffolk PTA. Below is the Zoom

meeting information for those who wish to tune in.

The outline highlights are as follows:

*Each candidate will be allowed three (3) minutes to make a presentation stating

qualifications and reasons for running. When the three minutes are up, the

timekeeper will ring a bell to signify that the sentence must be completed.

*Each candidate will be given the opportunity to answer each question in one (1)

minute. When the minute is up, the timekeeper will ring a bell indicating the candidate

must finish the sentence. No rebuttals are allowed during the question

and answer period.

*Each candidate will be allowed two (2) minutes to make a closing statement after the

last question has been answered. At this time candidates can make rebuttals.

*NO letters or statements by absent candidates will be read. No documents or flyers

may be posted. Only the candidates present may speak.

*Presentations will be in alphabetical order.

*Closing statements will be in reverse order

*Full event rules have been shared with each candidate. Note- Our platform allows for

500 individual logins to the event. It will be posted for future viewing the following day.

Community Questions:

All questions that will be asked by community members will need to be emailed

e-mail MUST INCLUDE the Elwood District name in the subject line. Suffolk Region

will then go through questions that will be asked during the event.

No questions will be able to be submitted on the evening of the event.

The chatbox will also be disabled.
