The Local Dialogue gathered a broad and diverse group of participants, reflecting the relevance of culture-driven territorial development across Europe. A strong delegation from Croatia was present, including representatives of all five Slavonian counties that jointly operate the Representative Office of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem in Brussels — Vukovar-Srijem, Osijek-Baranja, Brod-Posavina, Požega-Slavonia and Virovitica-Podravina Counties — as well as Ivan Bosančić, Prefect of Vukovar-Srijem County.
They were joined by representatives of regional and local administrations from partner territories across Europe; regional development agencies from Romania, Poland and Croatia; officials of the European Commission; municipal and regional authorities from Italy and Spain; international organisations and project partners; academic experts and members of the wider professional community; and several participants connecting from outside the EU.
This diverse participation highlighted the strong international interest in cultural identity as a driver of cohesion and underscored the strategic role of the Representative Office of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem in Brussels as a platform for interregional dialogue and cooperation.
