Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) for Student Leaders are five-to-six-week academic programs designed for foreign undergraduate students between the ages of 18 and 25 to improve their understanding of the United States and to develop their leadership skills. Institutes include a four-week academic residency consisting of interactive classroom activities, discussions, lectures, readings, site visits, and workshops; a one week educational study tour to a different region of the United States; leadership skills building activities; community service; and opportunities to interact with their American peers on a college campus. Each Institute includes approximately 20 participants from selected countries.

The Youth Delegate Program is a 3-month intensive leadership and action-oriented program that supports youth between the ages of 18 and 30 to develop the leadership skills and competencies required to solve The Global Goals by the year 2030.
UNITE 2030 Youth Delegates Delegates are instrumental in organizing the biggest youth generation in history to make the world a better place. They will act as youth representatives for the UNITE 2030 community, support and connect local grassroots campaigns, amplify youth actions that are creating change, develop tools and programming to support young people everywhere to achieve the Global Goals and accelerate solutions to the SDGs.
Applications for Cohort 4 of the Youth Delegate Program will be open from March 13th - April 9th, however we review applications and conduct interviews on a rolling basis. If all spaces are filled before April 9th, we will close applications early, so we recommend applying as soon as possible.

Vulcanus in Japan - A training programme for EU/COSME students -
EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation

Vulcanus in Japan started in 1997. The programme consists of industrial placements for EU / COSME* students. It starts in September and ends in August of the following year in order to accommodate the academic year in EU Member States.
The students follow:
· a one-week seminar on Japan,
· a four-month intensive Japanese language course,
· and then an eight-month traineeship in a Japanese company.
Objectives
· To study the range of advanced technologies employed by a leading Japanese host company.
· To learn Japanese and to understand and appreciate Japanese culture with a view to an enriching one year experience abroad.
· To be well placed in your future career to interact with Japanese businesses and people.
This programme is financed by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation and the Japanese host company. The EU / COSME* students are awarded a grant (Yen 1.900.000) to cover the cost of travel to and from Japan and living expenses in Japan. There is no charge for the language course and seminar, and accommodation is provided free of charge during the course and seminar and the company traineeship.

The new ML4Q Undergraduate Research Internship Program aims to raise the interest of talented students in the quantum technologies research. It gives an opportunity of hands-on experience in scientific work and an overview of the research performed in the cluster. The internees will work in one of the ML4Q groups under the direct supervision of a postdoc or senior PhD student and the hosting professor. At the same time they are encouraged to take part in seminars and events at host institute as well as other cluster sites.
