The European Civilian Protection Initiative (ECPI) is a strategic Erasmus+ Youth partnership designed to empower young Europeans and youth workers with essential skills, resilience frameworks, and practical knowledge in civilian preparedness, community safety, and crisis response. By translating European safety guidelines into accessible, youth-oriented digital tools and educational resources, ECPI fosters active citizenship, solidarity, and proactive disaster readiness across local communities in Europe.
Mapping local vulnerabilities and existing civilian protection frameworks to build a central, open-access repository of educational materials, safety protocols, and emergency readiness guides tailored for youth audiences.
Developing interactive training modules and practical workshops designed to equip youth workers, community leaders, and educators with effective methods to teach civilian protection and risk reduction strategies.
Fostering inter-regional cooperation between youth organizations across partner countries (Italy, Latvia, Greece) to comparative study local emergency protocols and draft unified, youth-inclusive policy recommendations.
Executing targeted local workshops, simulation exercises, and digital campaigns to engage young people directly, building a culture of community preparedness, mutual aid, and civic responsibility.
