Paint or use markers to add colour to the toothpicks.

2. Once dry, invite your child to place toothpicks into bottle.

After the bottle is adequately filled, seal up the bottle and invite your child to shake the bottle as you play the songs that were introduced last week.

Day 2: Making Musical Instruments – Popsicle Sticks Harmonica 制作乐器 - 冰棍棒口琴
What do you need?

Popsicle sticks 冰棍棒
Paint 颜料
Paintbrush 画笔
Rubber bands 橡皮筋
Toothpicks 牙签
Card stock 卡片纸
Scissors 剪刀
How can you work with your child?

Paint all sides of two popsicle sticks and let them dry.
用颜料将冰棍棒的两面涂上颜色然后自然晾干。
Cut a piece of card stock that is the same size as the popsicle stick.
将一片卡片纸剪成跟冰棍棒一样大小。
Sandwich the card stock piece between two popsicle sticks.
将剪出来的卡片纸纸夹在两根冰棍棒之间。
Bind the popsicle sticks together by wrapping a rubber band around each end.
用橡皮筋将冰棍棒的两端绑紧。
Slide two toothpicks between the popsicle sticks next to the rubber bands. Cut off any part of the toothpick that sticks out.
在两根冰棍棒中间的空隙里，两端橡皮筋的内侧位置塞入牙签。把凸出来的牙签部分剪掉。
Blow through the two popsicle sticks just as you would with a harmonica. Try squeezing the popsicle sticks closer together to see what sounds you can make!
像吹口琴一样，向冰棍棒口琴中间的空隙吹气。试着将两根冰棍棒挤压在一起，看看能发出什么样的声音！

3. White glue 白胶
4. Googly eyes 活动眼睛

1. Play song for your child to listen.

2. Draw the different variations of the facial features as seen in these pictures.

3. Explore the different variation with your child.

4. Doesn’t matter if the features do not match exactly.
就算表情不搭也没关系。
5. Give a name to expressions created.

Revisit the song and pause at different parts of the song to create expressions.

Day 5: Summary of Feelings over the past 2 weeks

How can you work with your child?

1. Read the book / Share the book with your child.
和您的孩子一起阅读视频里的书。
2. Invite your child to verbally express his/her feelings as you go through the story. You may choose to pause the video intermittently.
